What is the Classic Division?
The goal of the IRONMAN Virtual Racing platform is to provide continued inspiration and motivation for all athletes to be able to complete IRONMAN VR distances.
The Classic Division allows athletes the flexibility to race indoors or outdoors and with any preferred equipment.
Athletes participating in the Classic Division will have access to the Classic Division Live Leaderboard during race weekend. The times posted on this leaderboard will not be monitored by IRONMAN race officials given the diversity of the equipment being used.
Athletes who want to compete in a more structured, competitive and regulated race environment and/or to compete for an IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship slot, may sign up for the Championship Series Division if they meet the eligibility requirements. Learn more here.
