Da Nang
While it is not one of Vietnam´s most popular tourist destinations, Da Nang is one of the country´s largest cities and the economic center of the country´s central region. The result is a city with solid transportation links, easy access to many beautiful beaches and amazing sightseeing.
Getting There
Tourists who wish to travel directly to Da Nang can fly to Da Nang International Airport (DAD), which is the third–busiest in Vietnam. For those already in Vietnam and not wishing to fly from Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang is connected to most major cities and towns in Vietnam through its bus station and Da Nang Railway Station. Things to Do
Danang is famous for the 30–km stretch of white–sand beach within 100 km of three UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including the Imperial City of Hue, Hoi An Ancient Town and the My Son ruins. The city is also home to the Museum of Cham Sculpture. Founded by a French institute in the 1915, the museum contains the best collection of stone artwork from the Cham, a Hindu civilization that inhabited central Vietnam until the 14th century.
