Finisher of Onepunchman Challenge 2020

Finisher of Onepunchman Challenge

My journey began during lockdown due to pandemic. Since we are not allowed to go home as part of the skeletal workforce. During that time, part of the health protocols is to close the gym, covered court and swimming pool. The only physical activities are walking, cycling, running and individual exercises. One day, May 21 to be exact, I saw the fb account of Triathlon Philippines post of one punch man challenge, 100 days of 100 push ups, 100 sit ups, 100 squats and 10km run. I message the group if a non member can join, and on that day I receive an affirmative reply. so on the very next day, i started on my Saitama journey. tomorrow, oct 28, will be my 80th day.

My family serves as may primary motivation. i want to set an example to them, especially my daughters that physical activities is very important. To strengthen the body and immune system.

On the first two weeks, the body aches after each session. but after a month, you get use to it and you adopt to the stresses and strain of the challenge.

Usually, i do the training around 0430 hours to 0600 hours, 3 to 4 times per week. family and work are priorities, if there are overtime, or there are a lot of household chores at home, i have to skip a training.

that would be to love the challenge. make time for it. see the post of the members, especially those who already finished the workout, for inspiration and motivation. dont do it everyday, one must have rest days and recovery days. be grateful, because not only they allowed us to participate, the coaches also teaches how to do the challenge efficiently and safely.
